I’ve been playing the piano and writing songs regularly for about 6 years. God has called me to be an example of a Christ worshiper to everyone I come in contact with, and has given me a passion for writing music that is derived from “real” issues in my life, whether they be struggles or victories. Written below is the training that I have received, musical and spiritual.

Interned for eight weeks under worship pastor Jim Bullard, (former bassist, vocalist for Glad, and former Session Instructor for Maranatha Music). at Lake Valley Community Church(Hot Springs, Ark.)

During the internship I completed -

• Several week personal Bible study on worship derived from the book of Nehemiah
• Series of tutorial videos for electric bass, acoustic guitar, keyboard / piano and drums and their specific roles in accordance with contemporary/alternative worship styles
• One-on-one acoustic guitar and piano lessons from Jim Bullard
• Personal mentorship with three of the head elders at Lake Valley Community Church
• Three hours of daily rehearsal time on the piano / keyboard and guitar
• Worship leader for youth group meetings
• Participant in the main worship band
• Aided in the design and planning process for Sunday morning worship services
• Spiritual gifts assessment tests. Results = Mercy / Shepherding
• Weekly discipleship studies with current youth pastor Bob Springsteen

Music director, worship leader, and service planner for two years with “The Connexion,” a former young adult ministry at Fellowship Bible Church.

Vocalist, keyboard/piano player consistently for two years during regular Sunday services at Fellowship Bible Church (Winchester, Va).

Keyboard player for two years during regular Sunday services at Dulles Community Church (Chantilly, Va).

Currently I’m doing a music ministry internship at Crossroads Baptist Church in Leesburg, Va.

I am also currently writing, producing, and recording my first demo, titled “Just The Thing To Do.”
